How to make it

  • In a large deep pot add the lamb with some sunflower oil.
  • Peel and chop roughly the veg.
  • On top of the lamb add the potatoes in a layer
  • next add the carrots on top
  • then layer on top the parsnips
  • Tuck in the bayleaf & peppercorns
  • Make up a litre of stock
  • Pour on top
  • do not stir
  • Bring to boil simmer for 1.5 - 2hrs

    Hi how's you? Yeh there are lots of variation on the stew some add leeks, barley etc. When i'm not eating spicy food i like to eat very plain stuff!
