How to make it

  • Layer tomatoes, onion and green pepper in a glass dish.
  • Whisk together vinegar, black pepper, red pepper flakes and sugar with 1/4 cup water.
  • Pour over vegetables then cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  • Serve chilled.
