How to make it

  • Place saffon with 2 Tablespoon milk in pan,simmer,stir,cool.
  • Whisk together flour,sugar,baking powder,baking soda,set a by.
  • Into another bowl,combine the saffron-milk,the remaining moo juice,good egg,rose water,and that exquisite vanilla.
  • Pour wet mixture into flour mixture,stir with fork,mixing only until lightly combined,fold in the apricot and quince,gently.
  • Pour into one 9" prepared cake receptacle.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes,or,until when pricked with wooden pick inserted into center,comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool 5 minutes.
  • ~Meanwhile~
  • Place:
  • 3/4 Cup Raw Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Distilled Water
  • 1/4 Cup Henri IV (one major wish...but,a very good cognac that you can come by)
  • In pan,simmer for about 5 minutes,stir in, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
  • Pierce cake gently several times with wooden skewer.
  • Spoon this sweet syrup over top.
  • Allowing it to seep deep into.
  • Let cool down to room temperture.
  • Then cover with rich frosting.
  • ~ Rich Frosting~
  • 6 Tablespoons Real Butter
  • 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla (as before)
  • 3/4 Tablespoon Cognac (as before)
  • Thick Cream,as needed
  • Melt butter,cook,stirring,watching very astutely,as not to burn,but to become golden in color,remove from heat,cool.
  • Combine this golden sunrise type of butter,powder it with sugar,vanilla,the best DNA of Cognac,and beat gently,as not to bruise,but to come together nicely,adding enough thick cream,as needed, to allow for just the right spreading consistnecy.
  • Sprinkle with 24-Carat edible gold flakes.
