Candied Walnut Gorgonzola Salad

A nice easy salad for Spring
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar glazed walnuts, store bought or make your own shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar, if you make your own glazed walnuts shopping list
- 3 cups mixed greens shopping list
- 1/2 cup craisins shopping list
- 1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese shopping list
- 1 or 2 tablespoons Raspberry vinaigrette, Trader Joe's has a nice one with walnuts and gorgonzola cheese shopping list
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- If you are glazing your own walnuts, place sugar in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves into a light brown liquid
- Add walnuts and toss to coat
- Remove walnuts and cool on a sheet of foil
- In a large salad bowl, put in the mixed greens, craisins, cheese, vinaigrette, vinegar and olive oil
- Toss gently
- Add candied walnuts and toss again
