How to make it

  • If you are glazing your own walnuts, place sugar in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves into a light brown liquid
  • Add walnuts and toss to coat
  • Remove walnuts and cool on a sheet of foil
  • In a large salad bowl, put in the mixed greens, craisins, cheese, vinaigrette, vinegar and olive oil
  • Toss gently
  • Add candied walnuts and toss again
