Frozen Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3oz) pkg. strawberry Jello

1 c. boiling water

1 (6oz) can frozen lemonade concentrate

1 (8oz) tub of cool whip

1 (16oz) can peaches, drained and chopped

1 8 (oz) can pears, drained and chopped

Directions

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add frozen lemonade concentrate and stir until melted. Chill until slightly thickened. Blend in Cool Whip and fruit. Pour into a loaf pand and freeze until firm (about 4 hrs.) To serve soften slightly and unmold onto a plate. Slice and serve.

I remember this one. I just posted a recipe from the same cookbook! I couldn't remember the name of it until I saw it mentioned in this recipe. I guess that is not surprising--we are the same age, so we were learning to cook and collecting our first recipes at the same time!
