How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add syrup, flour and remaining ingredients. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes in lightly greased Pyrex pan. Prepare the following icing.
  • Icing:
  • Mix together. Bring to a boil. After boiling point is reached, boil 1 minute. Beat until icing is of spreading consistency.
