AMBER SLAW This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Greene Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1991.
Ingredients
- 1 medium head green cabbage shredded shopping list
- 1 cup shredded red cabbage shopping list
- 1 cup shredded carrots shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped radishes shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped cucumber shopping list
- 1 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 cup white vinegar shopping list
- 1-3/4 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl combine all vegetables.
- Combine remaining ingredients in jar and shake well to make dressing.
- Combine dressing and Slaw then mix well.
