How to make it

  • Heat oil in large pot then add pork pieces and lightly brown for 7 minutes.
  • Remove pork from pot and put aside.
  • Add remaining ingredients to pot and heat over medium heat until dissolved.
  • Add pork then bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes then stir in bourbon.
  • Mix cornstarch and water then add to pork and sauce just before serving to thicken.
