Apple Bourbon Pork

- 2 pounds pork tenderloin cut into bite size pieces shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 clove garlic crushed shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup apple juice shopping list
- 1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons catsup shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 3 tablespoons bourbon shopping list
- 1/3 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tablespoon water shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in large pot then add pork pieces and lightly brown for 7 minutes.
- Remove pork from pot and put aside.
- Add remaining ingredients to pot and heat over medium heat until dissolved.
- Add pork then bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes then stir in bourbon.
- Mix cornstarch and water then add to pork and sauce just before serving to thicken.
