How to make it

  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a heavy saucepan with a whisk. Using a whisk blends everything better than a spoon. Stir in the milk.
  • Cook over medium heat stirring constantly. Remove the pot when the mixture is thick like pudding.
  • Add the butter. Stir in until completely melted. Serve over biscuits, or what ever you want! Enjoy!

    The only gravy I like as well as this one on my biscuit is Sausage Gravy. I am almost 60 years old, and I remember this from about the age of 2 or 3. I was transplanted from Arkansas to Michigan at about that time, but it is a memory that will never leave me. Thanks and ^5!!
