How to make it

  • Collect pan drippings in a large measuring cup. Let stand until fat floats to top, and skim top layer of fat (about 1/2 cup).
  • Melt margarine in a pan with milk over medium high heat. Whisk in quinoa flour. Gradually add pan drippings, stirring continuously until desired thickness, about 5 minutes. Add cornstarch to thicken further (optional).
  • Nutrition facts (per serving): Calories: 39; Fat: 3g; Saturated Fat: 1g; Cholesterol: 1mg; Sodium: 145mg; Carbohydrates: 3g; Fiber: 1g; Protein: 1g

    This gravy was AMAZING! Even better than the white flour gravy that my husband loves so much. I actually used beef broth from the roast beef I cooked in the crock pot and it turned out incredible. Whole family gobbled up every bite. Thank you!!! <3

    I just noticed that I forgot to rate this recipe.. I would not have thought to use Quinoa flour as a thickener..I usually use corn starch..great post..five forks
