Chile Relleno Puff

- 1 (7 ounce) can whole chilies, split shopping list
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated shopping list
- 6 eggs, slightly beaten (you can use egg substitute) shopping list
- 3/4 cup 2% or homogenized milk shopping list
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a greased 7 x 11 inch baking dish, layer split chilies and 1/2 of the cheese.
- Combine eggs, milk, flour, baking powder.
- Mix well.
- Pour over chiles.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes until puffed and browned.
