Jens Spinach Dip

- 1 round sourdough loaf shopping list
- 1 package frozen spinach ( chopped ) shopping list
- 1 package Knorr vegetable soup mix shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- diced water chesnuts, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Squeeze all of the excess water out of the defrosted spinach.
- Mix all of the ingredients together except for the bread.
- Store the dip in the fridge for at least an hour before using.
- I have made this up overnight and served the next day :o)
- Cut off the top of the sourdough loaf and cut chunks out of the bread from the inside of the loaf ( so you are just left with a nice shell for the dip ).
- Fill the inside of the bread with the spinach dip just before serving.
- Place chunks of bread around the loaf so people will use them for dipping :o)
- A fabulous recipe, yummy!
