Braised Round Steak

- 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. round steak shopping list
- 2 Tbsp.oil shopping list
- 2 large onions (cut into rings) shopping list
- 1 each red & green pepper sliced shopping list
- 3 stalks celery shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed shopping list
- 1/2 cup red win1 (8oz) stewed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1TBSP.worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Wipe meat with damp paper towel. In large skillet
- brown meatin 1TBSP.of heated oil.
- Remove meat to oiled baking dish (set aside)
- In same skillet, saute onions, peppers celery & garlic in
- remaining oil for about 5 min. Add wine, tomatoes & seasonings
- Bring to boil. Pour over meat
- Cover & bake @350 for 1 to 11/2 hrs. or until meat is tender.
- Cut into serving pieces & serve immediately
