Lentil Stew

- 2lbs of lentils, rinsed shopping list
- 8 cups water shopping list
- 1 Large or 2 Small yellow squash (Mexican, Yellow zucchini), cut and cubed shopping list
- 3 roma tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Large red onion, diced shopping list
- 1 Medium green bell pepper, chopped in chunks shopping list
- 1 Medium yellow bell pepper, Chopped in chunks shopping list
- 1 Medium orange or red bell pepper, Chopped in chunks shopping list
- 2 Medium bunches of fresh broccoli shopping list
- 1 Large carrot, peeled and sliced shopping list
- 6 Large cloves of garlic shopping list
- seasonings to Taste: shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- garlic powder shopping list
- oregano shopping list
- basil shopping list
- Tumeric shopping list
- parsley shopping list
- celery Seed shopping list
How to make it
- Chop all of the ingredients
- Rinse and Drain the Lentils
- In a Large Dutch Oven, put all of the ingredients in the 8 cups of water, cover but vent and cook on the stove top for about an hour, may take longer depending on the consistency of the lentils that you want.
