Ingredients
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 can pie filling (my gramma either used cherry or blueberry...use whatever floats your boat!)

Directions
  1. Use an ungreased 9x13 pan.
  2. Crumble all of the above ingredients EXCEPT pie filling together as you would for a pie crust.
  3. Put 2/3 of the mixture on bottom of pan.
  4. Then add fruit filling (entire can) on top.
  5. Top that with balance of crumb batter.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min.
  7. Doubled, this recipe fits on a cookie sheet.
