Fricase De Pollp Recipe
Like all cuban dishes this one is one of my favorites!

Ingredients
  • 4 breast of boneless chicken
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 1 lg. Green pepper
  • 4 bits of garlic
  • 1 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 2 big red potato
  • 1 ½ water
  • Capers
  • Olives
  • 3/4 cup vino seco
  • Black Pepper
  • Adobo
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Vijol (in the spice section it comes in a little orange small container)

Directions
  1. Add olive oil to the bottom of the pan. Chop the onions, Garlic and Green pepper and simmer in a pan for about 10 minutes and then add the tomato sauce. Cut the potato in cube (again, if you are pressed for time, boil the potatoes in a separate pot and add later to your pan) Add the chicken, small to medium sliced cubes. Add capers like 9 or 10 of those little suckers and 15 olives and some juice. Add two tapitas of vino seco and two bay leaves. Add the vijol, get the tip of a knife and add two tip full (for color) Add the adobo and pepper (again sprinkle the black pepper like twice back and forth and the adobo like five or six times) STIR. STIR. Cook in medium/ high for like 20 minutes in a cover pot then add 1 ½ cup of water and cook for 10 minutes of until serving.

This sounds interesting.. Ive never really had any cuban food.... this might be my first sampling..
