How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 450^.
  • Crust:
  • Blend crumbs and butter completely.
  • Butter sides and bottom of 10" spring-pan.
  • Press crumb mixture onto sides and bottom of pan.
  • Set in fridge.
  • Filling:
  • Blend cream cheese, suagr and four until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Add cocoa powder.
  • Add vanilla, vinegar, buttermilk, and cream, mixing thoroughly.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake at 450^ for 16 minutes.
  • Reduce temp. to 250^ and continue baking for 1 hour.
  • Let cool completely and refrigerate before serving.

    As an alternative, Herseys has a Dark Special cocoa powder now availible. It may be easier to find than the powder I use.
