How to make it

  • In a large bowl, combine lemon rind and juice, Romano, and oil. Set aside.
  • Cook pasta and drain, saving 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
  • Add hot pasta to lemon sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss, adding reserved cooking water as necessary, until pasta is coated in sauce.
  • Garnish with basil.
