How to make it

  • With rack in the middle of the oven, preheat at 375 degrees.
  • Mix together sugars in a large bowl.
  • Cut in butter. Mix in other ingredients to flour.
  • Add flour and stir until dough forms. It will be a bit dry and crumbly.
  • Form into level tablespoon balls, and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Flatten slightly.
  • Bake 8 minutes per batch till slightly golden on edges.
  • Mix zest and confectioners sugar. Cut in butter. Add lime juice as needed and cream cheese. Mix till proper spreading consistency.
