CINNAMON BREAKFAST BITES

- 1 1/3 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal, coarsly crushed shopping list
- 2 tbsp + 1/2 cup sugar, divided shopping list
- 3 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter-flavored shortening shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425F
- In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the flour, cereal, 2 tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt
- Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- Stir in milk just until moistened
- Shape into 1 inch balls
- In a shallow bowl, combine cinnamon and remaining sugar.
- Dip balls into melted butter then roll into cinnamon-sugar
- Arrange in a single layer in an 8-inch round baking pan.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
- Serve warm
