How to make it

  • Take the fillets, clean them and cut them into medium sizes.
  • Take a pan and heat 2 tbsp of butter in it. Cook the fish fillets till they flake easily.
  • Heat 1 tbsp butter in another pan and add cornstarch. Stir continuously for 3 minutes. Add milk and stir continuously, to avoid lumps.
  • Now add mushrooms, carrot, peas, oregano, salt and black pepper. Cook till it becomes thick.
  • Now pour this over the cooked fillets. If fillets have become cold then warm them in oven and then pour the sauce.
  • Fish Mushroom is ready to be served. Garnish with cerely before serving and serve with bread.
  • NOTE: Mom made this for a local TV channel and she won a modular kitchen .She added some tamarind extract to make it flavory. It is of course optional:)
