Mushroom Sauce And Fish

- 1 cup button mushrooms, washed and chopped shopping list
- 500 gms fish fillets shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornflour shopping list
- Salt as per taste shopping list
- 3 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 tbsp celery, chopped finely shopping list
- 1/4 carrot, shredded shopping list
- 1/4 cup boiled peas shopping list
- 1/4 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1/8 tsp oregano shopping list
How to make it
- Take the fillets, clean them and cut them into medium sizes.
- Take a pan and heat 2 tbsp of butter in it. Cook the fish fillets till they flake easily.
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in another pan and add cornstarch. Stir continuously for 3 minutes. Add milk and stir continuously, to avoid lumps.
- Now add mushrooms, carrot, peas, oregano, salt and black pepper. Cook till it becomes thick.
- Now pour this over the cooked fillets. If fillets have become cold then warm them in oven and then pour the sauce.
- Fish Mushroom is ready to be served. Garnish with cerely before serving and serve with bread.
- NOTE: Mom made this for a local TV channel and she won a modular kitchen .She added some tamarind extract to make it flavory. It is of course optional:)
