How to make it

  • In a large, covered saucepan, heat 1/4 cup water.
  • Add broccoli and cauliflower, cover and steam 5 minutes.
  • Add chickpeas and heat through.
  • Stir in curry, garlic and onion powders, cinnamon and ginger. Cook, stirring, until spices are fragrant and steaming water has evaporated - about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the 1/3 cup water and tomato paste and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer until sauce is thick.
  • Stir in lemon juice and serve.

    I am in a similar boat, dh claims to not like curry! am in process of testing this out! (unbeknownst to him). I love love curry . thank you jojoba for ALL your postss! you're awsomely creative. and very health-oriented, tambien.
