Five Spice Pork With Peppers, Pears And Sugar Snap Peas

- 1/2 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sesame seed oil shopping list
- 2 cloves of garlic crushed shopping list
- 1 piece of ginger about silver dollar sized, 1/4" thick...minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of five spice shopping list
- 1 pork tenderloin shopping list
- 1 green pepper shopping list
- 2-3 Thai chilles (or hot pepper to your liking) seeded and chopped fine shopping list
- 1 cup of sugar snap peas shopping list
- 1 pear cored and diced shopping list
- i cup of rice - cooked to your liking (I like basmatti) shopping list
- green onions (optional) shopping list
- good wok and peanut oil shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and five spice together and put in a zip lock back
- Slice the pork up very thin and add to the marinade in the zip lock bag....let sit for at least 4 hours....overnight is good too
- Heat wok and add the entire contents of the zip lock bag to the wok
- Cook the pork thoroughly, remove and set aside
- Add peanut oil to hot wok...about 2 tablespoon and add the peppers (both green and red Thai) and cook for about a minute
- Add sugar snap peas and add to wok..stir fry for about two minutes
- Add pears and stir fry for another minute or so
- Add pork and mix well, let all the flavors get used to each other. This will take about 2 - 3 minutes
- Add the rice...if - - you want to add the green onions to this dish mix them into the rice ahead of time.
- Depending on the size of your wok you may need to mix the rice and the pork/vegetable mixture in another bigger bowl
- Serve and enjoy
