How to make it

  • Whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt in a heavy saucepan.
  • Gradually whisk in the milk.
  • Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, and boil until pudding is thick, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Immediately beat the egg lightly in a medium, heat-proof bowl. Very gradually add the hot chocolate mixture to the egg, whisking constantly. now,whisk in the chocolate chips until they are melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • pure the mixture in to the serving cups and refrigerate, covered, for 2 hours or until cool to touch.
  • if you want, serve it with whipped cream.
  • ENJOY

    Good pudding. Think I would have assembled it in a different fashion but it turned out well this way too.
