  • Peel and wash onions. Cut onions in half and then again into 4 quarters. Once the onion is cut you should have 8 wedges per onion. Wrap each onion wedge with half a slice of bacon securing the bacon with toothpicks. Make sure to soak the toothpicks in water for 20 minutes prior to preparing the onions. If you like your food on the spicy side, you can try adding a thin slice of jalapeno or serrano pepper to the mix. Season with your favorite Outdoor Gourmet seasonings.

  • Place the onion wedges on the grill at medium heat (350º to 400º). Cook the onion until it becomes translucent and caramelized and bacon becomes crispy. Remove toothpick once fully cooked and enjoy.
