How to make it

  • Base:
  • Butter an eight inch square pan.
  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir in the cocoa,brown sugar,and corn syrup.
  • Bring to a boil and let boil for one minute.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the crumbs.
  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan,pressing down lightly.
  • Frosting:
  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over barely simmering water.
  • Pour the melted chocolat over the base.
  • Chill about 2 hours.
  • Cut into squares
