How to make it

  • Mix oats with buttermilk and let stand 10 minutes. Then add other ingredients, mixing well. Let stand to blend for a few minutes. If batter is too thick, add more milk; if too thin, add flour. Grease the griddle. Fry cakes in butter over low heat on both sides. Serve with molasses sauce.
