Dc Baked Beans

This is a great side dish for summer Barbeques!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey or ground beef shopping list
- 3 cups of pinto beans or baked beans [pre-cooked] shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 1 green pepper shopping list
- 1 red pepper shopping list
- 1 can of crushed pineapple shopping list
- 1/4 cup worcestshire [I prefer Lea & Perrins] shopping list
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup mustard shopping list
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- red pepper flakes [amount to your taste] shopping list
How to make it
- Dice onion and peppers
- Begin to brown your meat and add onions and peppers as meat begins to brown
- Drain fat
- In a large pot combine beans with meat mixture
- Add BBQ sauce, Worcestshire, mustard and brown sugar
- Turn heat to simmer and mix ingredients well
- Let simmer for 10 minuts stirring occasionally
- Preheat oven to 325
- Add crushed pineapple
- Remove from pot and place in large oven safe baking dish
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Let cool and serve
