How to make it

  • In a large soup pot, brown the ground beef with the onions. Spoon off excess fat. Add the salt, pepper, jalapenos, and vegetable juice. Bring to a boil and stir in the dried beans. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until the beans are tender. Ladle into bowls and add toppings as desired. I like to add the cheese topping and let it get a little melty, then some raw minced onions, and scoop it up with crackers to eat. Yummy!
