Honey Mustard Meatloaf

- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, lean shopping list
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup onion chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon basil shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard shopping list
- 3 tablespoons honey shopping list
- 2 tablespoons scallions, spring or green onions chopped shopping list
- If you have a favorite honey mustard sauce use it shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine ground meat, bread crumbs, onions, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in egg(s), mixing lightly, but thoroughly.
- Shape into loaf.
- Place loaf in baking pan (or on a baking sheet, such as a broiler pan.)
- Combine honey and mustard, brush 1/2 mixture on loaf.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
- Brush with remaining glaze. Bake for 20 to 30 more minutes.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with scallions.
