This was way too watery. I think next time I would replace some of the water with soy sauce since there's only 1 tsp, and add some tahini or peanut butter to thicken it up.

I've been to Mtl, as well my RMT lives there half the time and both of us have eaten there before. We're both foodies, and since I'm mostly vegan and his girlfriend is a vegetarian with several allergies we swap recipes a ton.

As far as the whole raw food thing goes, I'm not sure how beneficial or not it is in general. I know it's impossible for me personally to ascribe to that kind of diet (nut and avocado allergies throw major wrenches into vegan diets at the best of times, not to mention raw ones) but if one can make sure they are eating all the nutrients they require, in the correct balance, still have a social and family life and be happy with the way they eat I support their decision. I only have a problem with any belief system or lifestyle if those taking part bring it upon themselves to force their way of thinking on me.

How do you know about aux vivres? Are you from Montreal? What do you think about the raw food diet?
