How to make it

  • Cut potatoes in halves or fourths so they are the same size pieces for even cooking. In pot place potatoes, water, oil and garlic. Stir witrh spoon. Then cover and cook high 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until potatoes are tender. Mash with potato masher. Stir in 4 0z. cream cheese and 1 Tbs fresh chopped chives. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Yield: 4 to 6 servings

    Ah yes. Another mashed potatoe recipe to add to my collection and make sure that I try it ASAP! I love red potatoes. I've never tried the crockpot method so i'm really excited to test this out. Thanks, Dan
