Skillet Chicken Stew

- 1/3 c flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- dash pepper shopping list
- 1-1/2 lbs boneless,skinless chicken breasts or thighs,cut in 1" pieces shopping list
- 3 TB butter shopping list
- 1 med. onion,sliced shopping list
- 3 celery ribs,sliced shopping list
- 2 med. potatoes,peeled and cut into 3/4" cubes shopping list
- 3 med. carrots,cut in 1/4" slices shopping list
- 1 c chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme shopping list
- 1 Tb ketchup shopping list
- 1 TB cornstarch shopping list
How to make it
- In large,resealable plastic bag,combine flour,salt and pepper. Add chicken a few pieces at a time and shake to coat.
- In large skillet,melt butter;cook chicken until juices run clear. Add onion and celery;cook 3 mins.Stir in potatoes and carrots.
- In small bowl,combine broth,thyme,jketchup and cornstarch;stir into skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat;cover and simmer for 15-20 mins or till the vegetables are tender.
