How to make it

  • In a large skillet or dutch oven, melt butter over medium-high heat. Cook pork 3-5 minutes or until browned on both sides. Remove pork from skillet and set aside.
  • Add 3 cups of broth, the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and potatoes to the skillet. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer 13-17 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • Reserve 4 tablespoons of onions for garnish. Stir remaining onions, mushrooms and pork slices into the potatoes. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes longer, until pork is no longer pink in the center.
  • Add flour to reserved broth and blend until smooth. Gradually stir into pork mixture. cook over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly and thickened. Sprinkle with reserved onions.
