Cranberry Cheesecake Kugel

- 10 oz of wide egg noodles ( about 3/4 of a lb pkg ) shopping list
- 6 oz dried cranberries shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 16 oz marscapone cheese shopping list
- 3/4 cup small curd cottage cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 3 cups cranberry and nuts cereal or a similar granola combo crushed or chopped into crumbs( Ex Post cranberry and almond cereal flakes ) shopping list
- crumb topping shopping list
- 2 cups crushed cranberry and nut cereal shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter softened shopping list
- Dessert sauce shopping list
- 1 cup marscapone cheese shopping list
- honey to taste shopping list
- heavy cream to thin out shopping list
How to make it
- Cook noodles soft , drain and rinse with cold water and drain well
- Beat eggs light and add sugar and beat until thick and lemon colored
- in another bowl combine cheese, honey, cinnamon, vanilla and mix well
- Combine both mixtures and fold in cranberries
- Fold in noodles and mix well
- Butter a 10 inch tube springform pan
- Add 1 cup of crumbs and turn pan to coat bottom and sides
- Add noodle mixture
- Mix crushed cereal with brown sugar and softened butter to form crumbs and evenly place over top
- Bake in a 350F oven about 50 minutes or set.
- Cool in pan 15 minutes. loosen sides with a knife tip
- may cut into slices or chilled and cut
- Sauce:Mix cheese with honey and heavy cream to a thick pourable mixture and serve on the side with the cheesecake kugel
- Note: may bake in a 9 x13 pan also!
