How to make it

  • First you wan to add the ground almonds and the milk in a small pan and let gently cook around for 10 minutes.
  • Then you can add the crumbs and cook approx. 3 minutes, make sure to stir.
  • Now inn a large pan you want to melt the butter, then add the flour and then stir it in then stir in the almond puree.
  • Then you wan to gradually add your stock and when you have a smooth soup, you want to season with salt, hot pepper and ground mace.
  • You can now cook on low slowly for approx. 10 minutes and then remove from the heat and stir in your cream. Heat this through gently.
  • Meanwhile add slivered almonds to a buttered pan and cook to a golden brown.
  • Ladle Soup and sprinkled almonds on top.
