Tangy Turkey Kabobs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt
  • Juice and zest from 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 Serrano chile minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mexican chile powder
  • 2 teaspoons Hungarian paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 pounds turkey breast cut into 2" cubes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. In a bowl whisk together the first 11 ingredients until smooth.
  2. Add the yogurt marinade to a large sealable plastic bag then add turkey cubes to the bag and seal removing as much air as possible.
  3. Toss turkey around in the marinade until thoroughly coated.
  4. Marinate turkey refrigerated for 24 hours.
  5. Allow turkey to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes prior to grilling.
  6. Place turkey cubes on skewers close enough so they are touching but not crowded.
  7. Grill turkey kabobs over medium high heat for 15 minutes flipping after 5 minutes.
  8. Once fully cooked remove kabobs from the grill and allow rest 5 minutes before serving.
