How to make it

  • 1. Cream together the butter and sugar, and mix with the egg.
  • 2. Sieve the flour and spices into a bowl.
  • 3. Combine all ingredients together.
  • 4. Either roll out and use a cutter to make 8 scones, or roll into 8 balls as I had to!
  • 5. Bake at 200C for about 15 minutes, until the tops start to brown.
  • Serve warm with plenty of butter!
