- Ingredients: shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 3/4 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vanilla, anise or almond extract shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 10X sugar for dusting shopping list
How to make it
- Preparation:
- In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla. Sift together the flour and baking powder, and blend into the batter until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick pizzelle iron, lightly oil with cooking spray. Drop about one tablespoon of batter onto each circle on the iron.
- You may need to adjust the amount of batter and baking time depending on the iron.
- Bake for 20 to 45 seconds, or until steam is no longer coming out of the iron. Carefully remove cookies from the iron, with spatula.
- Note: While still warm, you can roll into small cones if desired and fill with Nutella , whipped cream or even ice cream!
