Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preparation:
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla. Sift together the flour and baking powder, and blend into the batter until smooth.
  • Heat a non-stick pizzelle iron, lightly oil with cooking spray. Drop about one tablespoon of batter onto each circle on the iron.
  • You may need to adjust the amount of batter and baking time depending on the iron.
  • Bake for 20 to 45 seconds, or until steam is no longer coming out of the iron. Carefully remove cookies from the iron, with spatula.
  • Note: While still warm, you can roll into small cones if desired and fill with Nutella , whipped cream or even ice cream!

Can't wait to try these. I bought a pizzelle iron at a thrift store with no instructions so haven't used it yet. Thanks for sharing.

I would like to try these. Do you need to use a pizelle iron, or will something else work?
