Mark's Chicken Tetrazzini

- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry sherry shopping list
- 1 package (10 oz) sliced baby bella mushrooms shopping list
- 1 jar pimentos drained shopping list
- 1 package linguine cooked and drained shopping list
- 3 cups chopped,cubed chicken shopping list
- 1 cup parmasean cheese shopping list
- salt,pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- heat oven to 350
- melt butter in a large saucepan over med. heat
- add flour,salt and pepper
- cook over med heat till smooth and bubbling
- remove from heat, add broth ,sherry,nutmeg
- heat to a boiling and thickened
- add heavy cream
- add pimentos, mushrooms,chicken
- fold in linguine
- pour into a ungreased 13 by 9 inch casserole dish
- sprinkle parmasean cheese
- bake 30 to 40 minutes or till browned and bubbly
- stand back and keep fingers out of husbands way!!!
