Spicy Shrimp Etouffee

- 3 Tbs butter shopping list
- 1 Tbs flour shopping list
- 1 pinch chile flakes shopping list
- 1 onion, diced shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper, diced shopping list
- 3 ribs celery, diced shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup stock shopping list
- 1 tsp hot sauce shopping list
- 2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails removed shopping list
- 2 Tbs lemon juice shopping list
- 1 Tbs parsley shopping list
- 2 scallions, minced shopping list
How to make it
- saute butter and flour over medium-low heat
- add next 5 ingredients; cook 3-4 minutes
- add cayenne, stock, and shrimp; cook 1 minute
- add hot sauce, lemon juice, parsley and scallions.
- serve over rice
