How to make it

  • Bring the sugar and water to a boil for 8 minutes thus making a simple syrup. Add the tea and then chill together.
  • Remove from fridge when chilled and add the juice of lemons and oranges plus the pineapple.
  • Place in fridge and let chill and mellow at least two hours.
  • Add ginger ale and ice cubes just before serving.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and some finely chopped maraschino cherries.
