Almond - Poppyseed Loaf With Cranberries

- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds shopping list
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tbsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 cup 1% milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp almond butter shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 tsp almond extract shopping list
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds shopping list
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, roughly chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F, grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flours, sugar, poppy seeds, nutmeg and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat milk, butter, almond butter, egg, vanilla and almond extract.
- Add flour mixture and stir just to combine.
- Fold in almonds and cranberries.
- Bake 1 hour 10 minutes.
- Cool in pan 30 minutes, then turn out and cool on a wire rack
