Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix biscuit dough and roll out 1/4" thick; spread or dot with butter; sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Dot the dough with raisins, if desired. Make a roll on the dough; cut across the roll in slices; place with cut side up on greased pan and bake in hot oven (425-450).
  • That is all the recipe states. For a cleaner cut of the dough, use string under the roll and crisscross over and pull. It doesn't flatten it as much as cutting with a knife.

    " It was excellent "

I made these yesterday, they are very close to the ones i made years ago for my girls when they were in school. I haven't made these in years but i felt like baking and they turned out great.
I used lactose free Natrel butter and lactose free Natrel milk. I also
put the dough in the fridge for 45 minutes. I find it rolls out better when cold, i do the same with pie dough.
    Made 12 rolls.

425-450 i think is to hot for these, i baked at 400 and they turned out great.
Made for May Picture-Less Photo Challenge.
