Applesauce Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 2. Spray desired pan with nonstick spray (I used a bundt pan)
  • 3. Prepare cake according to package directions except, add 1 tablespoon of flour to the dry mix and blend well.
  • 4. Substitute an equal amount of the applesauce for the vegetable oil and substitute an equal number of egg whites for whole eggs.
  • 5. Pour into your prepared pan and bake according to package directions.
  • 6. Cook and let it get a nice golden brown.
  • 7. Remove when done (when a toothpick or knife) comes out clean and let cool. Frost if desired. Or drizzle icing over it.
