Ingredients

How to make it

  • Pre heat oven to 180 degrees C
  • Add all the ingredients into a bowl.
  • DO NOT STIR, rather fold the ingredients together until mixed.
  • Grease a baking tray. I use a spoon to place medium to large 'blobs' on the tray, leaving about 2 cm between them on either side. Brush lightly with egg. Bake until tops are golden.

sorry it's 3 cups of self raising flour, and they come out light and fluffy.

I'll have to give this a try...I have never made scones, my husband grew up in Australia, and he misses them! It's just I am not a baker, but I think I will try your recipe, sounds easy and delicious!

Sprite, really? Never would have thought of that. But how much self-raising flour?
