How to make it

  • Remove heart from cabbage and outer leaves. Cut into sections and boil for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain well and place in casserole. Add cream and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until top is brown and nearly all the liquid is gone.

    We have a variation of this in South Africa. We mix 1 cup cream with 1 packed of brown onion soup mix, and follow the same instructions. Absolutely delicious!
