Texas Ranch Potato Salad

- 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing shopping list
- 1 cup of mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 cup of sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion shopping list
- 1/2 pound of bacon slices shopping list
- 5 lbs of unpeeled potatoes, chopped shopping list
- salt/pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 Cup shredded cheese shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Bring a pot of water to boil and add the potatoes and cook until tender.
- 2. 15-20 minutes.
- 3. Drain and run under cold water to cool.
- 4. Transfer to a large serving bowl and chill for 2 hours.
- 5. In a small bowl, stir together the ranch dressing mix, mayonnaise, sour cream and green onion. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours to blend the flavors.
- 6. While everything is chilling cook the bacon in a pan on the stove make sure it is crispy, drain on paper towel and let it chill.
- 7. Stir the mayonnaise mixture into the potatoes and then crumbled bacon and stir. And its ready to serve.
