Ingredients

How to make it

  • Add all of the ingredients in a bowl, mix well. Form into patties. Fry in a skillet (we always use a cast iron skillet for these) Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  • Enjoy with a nice vegetable & fresh salad...or better yet, pinto beans & cornbread!!!!
  • ALSO...had a few great tips to add= mix crushed Ritz or Club crackers with the salmon mixture, even bread brumbs...more texture means more crunch!!!

My grandma who was 86 when she died had use Ritz Crackers or Club Crackers to hold together better, the rest of the recipes is how she made them! high 5!

Holy Cow! I didn't think anyone else still ate these. I love these things! My change is crushed Ritz crackers.

I have even used Italian bread crumbs in mine before. Gives it a great taste! I loved smelling my Mom cook these for dinner. She would make it with broccoli and wild rice. "Always get your greenies in," she would say LOL
