How to make it

  • Take the spinach out of the box and cut a small slit in the top of the plastic, put in a microwave approved dish , cook for 6 minutes on high.
  • I took the spinach (couldn't find my strainer) and drained it in a calderon on top of a paper towel and squeezed most of the liquid out of it. Please be sure to drain good or you could have spinach and bacon soup.
  • While spinach is cooking heat a small sauté pan with the butter add the chopped onions sauté till onions almost done then add the chopped bacon and sauté a few more minutes. Take the drained spinach and break it up and add to the mixture, add the cheese and turn off heat , let it sit till cheese melts.
